when #hashtags? they help foster and facilitate deeper asynchronous conversation and connections. and that aspect is missing in the farcaster ecosystem. i can imagine a curated frame with similarly tagged conversations that are then displayed like a thread. but i don't see how that's possible right now. cc/ @dwr.eth @woj.eth

hashtags get really spammy as they get popular as they get more spammy they require ml algo sorting and they you might as well just invest in better feed algo or better semantic search why do you find hashtags useful? do you have a good example on other platforms?

I think they'd be useful in organizing asynchronous conversation. So for example, each week i ask a question in the /cryptoart channel - the Cryptoart Question of the Week. Let's say I used #CAQOTW and between Thurs and Monday i facilitate a conversation. I also quotecast others comments in the channel to prompt further discussion. so i could then tag those as well. and then others can follow along using the hashtag.
