supercast already is one, every user gets a wallet

i’m still figuring out what features should i build around it and what to expose in the UI

to have a better shot at understanding the UX, i’m now building an integration with claiming moxie + degen with regular EOAs

next will be transaction frames

and then i’ll look at the stats and add the most demanded fratures into one-click behavior in supercast 🫡

farcaster client <> crypto wallet thoughts

imo it’s quite unclear what crypto actions users want to do inside a fc client — but once there is a big use case (eg moxie or some transaction frame goes super viral) an embedded wallet inside a client would be a 10x crypto UX

fun fact: warpcast is also a wallet — but it only holds your fid and nothing else right now

Nearly all of these tx’s happened on farcaster the past 19 days 

It’s happening, and there will be others to follow

I’ve struggled with the gateway to Moxie being an action on any random post. Not hard to use just isn’t intuitive.

Even the language of learning what ‘embedded wallet’ means doesn’t sound good to the average consumer.

People just want to make money, not feel like connecting their money to the platform. 

Doesn’t matter what terminology we use so long as the experience is more so beneficial to the user. 

In this case, simply viewing how much coin you have.

the wallet kick out is bad UX and the smart wallet isn’t sufficiently integrated into a FC client where it’s a native transaction experience

embedded wallet to onboard the ppl who have no idea what “onchain” means, don’t have a wallet, but have heard about incentives to be here - let em earn into the embedded wallet, see the $ value, cash out easily if they want, and it can start a viral loop for “non crypto” ppl

My Warpcast wallet holds a lot more than that 😅

Definitely think I messed something up with my original wallet configuration but am too scared to mess with it now and break something 😂

I think the separation of the post and financial wallets is intentional. 

Warpcast team may integrate smart wallets in the future

Yep I think Steemit had that part right - easy wallet embedded with your profile for collecting tokens and tipping

But one issue was lack of privacy - you could see exactly how much anyone had at any time and I think that made people uncomfortable

What do you mean it’s also a wallet ? Don’t we attach one of our wallets to farcaster ?

My Warpcast holds some degen too haha I discovered this wen far launch did airdrop og days that's the time I also discovered supercast had to pay some warps to use the app! 🫡💙
