daos will be very big in the future we just haven't built an asset that incentivizes long term play yet. protocol wise i think they will look more like nouns in the front and defi in the back

this is an interesting prompt to think up something new from

all successful crypto protocols are designed for 2 types of users.  those who want to play the market game (financial) and those that play the social game (art, community, etc). the first help the price go up while the latter creates believers who hold

nouns has tried very hard to reject the first one (financial) but it's what creates enough liquidity for the social games to be played. when liquidity runs dry it's a rush to the exit because there is no incentive to continue adding money in.

there are money games that allow all dao members to "earn yield" for keeping the dao running without destroying it, just depends on what games you want to play

Yea, there's really nothing to incentivize long term involvement in a DAO.  Voting in a way that actually aims to move the DAO forward takes time and energy and you don't really get anything back aside from social capital. 

That said, you can't just give people rewards for voting or you'll just get a bunch of low effort votes.

I liked when camp was rewarding # of revotes, I think thats a decent proxy for how well a person is voting. It's harder to game.
