I claimed with the standard RPC on Metamask, on a couple addresses. I claimed over a few hours, I didn't rush it.

This was my experience too, three browsers with three different wallets, each with a different RPC and still took 40 minutes to claim. Shows we still have a go before it can scale for major events. Although I think the error may have been on the claim website's web3 connection rather than the local wallet.

Struggled at the start but eventually managed to claim by changing rpc .. go to chainlist and try rpc's under zksync one by one.
