I feel oldschool because i still use Illustrator for branding work and not Figma

I still use it for 90% of work i do. My go to software for now. But Figma is a requirement now and new industry standard. Need to master it soon too. Any good courses or proper tutorials that you've seen?

Illustrator still has a huge edge over Figma for more intricate vector work. I still use it for logo and icon design.

Because of ethics / price? The only software i would migrate to now would be Figma tbh

I still use Illustrator for most of my work, but I am slowly switching over to Affinity Designer for vector design projects.

I know my workflow in Illustrator and i'm fast with it. Is it as simple to manipulate vector objects in Figma as in AI?

figma hasn’t been good enough until recently imo

Illustrator has quite a few useful tools (don't remember their names though). I use Figma because it is free. 

I don't have enough paying design work to pay for the creative suite subscription. So I use Figma and Photopea whenever needed.
