What do if you get out of ideas for a prolonged time? How to restart in the modern times? How to react if client missuses your guidelines and it pi**ses you off?

1 - design is work, not art. You just browse pinterest / behance and try and do it or ask friends / coworkers for their opinion and advice. 2 - touch grass :) 3 - if you are friendly with the client - give them a call / email very politely stating your opinion. If you're not friendly with the client - ignore.

Great advices. Might not agree on 1. 100% but will try to treat it as work, it might change my mentality.

I am talking only from my own point of view. If you have another job that you do to make a living and do design as a hobby - that's a totally different situation. But if design is what you do / want to do for a living i think it should be treated as work 1st.

And I do agree in most part. Is just the art thing that i am not sure about. Design feels like discipline and art + education and dedication. Which I dont have any 🤦🏼 I worked for an academic designer for several years and experimented under good guidance. Than one thing led to another and now I do design for our club. Latelly i find it hard to get ideas and I feel like unmotivated to search for any
