Worth a try on all of them.

The design does bear my name and some clients knows that. The dillema is how much effort to put in to let clients follow back the guidelines.

I get out of home and do something nice or try to switch brain on by playing videogames.

You can restart by redesigning thing. Pretty sure all we see could become better. 

If the client is paying me, I don't care. Is he/she making it ugly? Nobody will ever know I did it. Design is art but also survival.

Might not agree on 1. 100% but will try to treat it as work, it might change my mentality.

1 - design is work, not art. You just browse pinterest / behance and try and do it or ask friends / coworkers for their opinion and advice.
2 - touch grass :)
3 - if you are friendly with the client - give them a call / email very politely stating your opinion. If you're not friendly with the client - ignore.
