amusing, but a waste of my time to give chatGPT some code to improve, it gives back a wrong version, i give it some info why it's wrong, and then it gives me back my original code

what are people using nowadays that's better? i don't want to change editors.

it's good at writing boilerplate/tests, but I haven't had any luck getting more out of it but could be my own inability

the copilot chat gave me the same dumb answer as chatgpt

What’s your editor? Cursor.sh is identical to vs code, just with a better UI for code generation

I've had luck with Gemini 1.5 in Google's AI studio. You can upload quite a lot of code with the 1 million and now 1.5-2 million token context window.
