What’s your design pet peeve? Mine are “one pagers” slides with a shit ton of info in the smallest font. Can’t take the people putting those together seriously.

1. TDD — Twitter-Driven Designing/Developing → Just because everyone is hyping and experiencing doesn't mean it's good. 2. Dribbble Stuff → Just because it looks good doesn't mean it solves problems. Design is an aspect of problem-solving. 3. UI = UX and vise versa; just don't say this ever loud to me 💩

Typographic orphans in web/product copy. PDFs that don't use in-document hyperlinks for table of contents. Inaccessible color contrast in UI. Apps that don't allow you to highlight a string and paste a URL to create a hyperlink. Websites that look like trash between 1080 and 720px viewport sizes.

Overuse of superlatives in copy. Inconsistent use of ‘Continue’, ‘Okay’, ‘Close’, *X Button*, etc… in modals.
