ga farcaster if you can't destroy something, you don't actually own it do you agree? do you disagree? why? what does this change? e.g. if you can't delete data from a decentralized social network do you actually own the data?

I consider ownership a number of rights you are granted and it changes depending on context. You own a house but you are not free to burn it. You own a piece of land but you are not free to build anything you want on it. You own a car but you are not free to drive it any way you like.
