Haha exactly that - a tweet, an Instagram post, a cast. But I hear where you're coming from and absolutely agree that if you want to earn a living making anything on the internet, you *have* to be comfortable marketing your work. And the marketing materials / efforts around your core creative work are most effective if they're part of a systematic approach, which certainly bend the bite-sized output of marketing toward being "content". Still, I think you can just call it what it is (tweet, cast, post, clip, short-form video, summary, etc.) without bundling it all under "content".
