I'm also not a supporter of "tip to zero" for it's own sake. >Invest/ tip when you discover something worthy. >Explore farcaster to find worthwhile ppl to support. >There's no bonus for emptying your tip clip quickly or completely. >There's no penalty for not tipping/ investing. There's no hurry. Do it right 🌹

That's a little sad to hear, but I understand the sentiment. I had launched the channel for /degenzero as a way of reminding myself to tip regularly, as I only really just liked posts or commented. Tipping wasn't top of mind for me. I still do it in that spirit, but can absolutely shut it down.

TIL there's no penalty for not using it all. somewhere I was told "if you don't use it, you lose it, and your allowance will go down because of it". I've always searched for magic and things that make me feel etc for tips but this is good to know thank you!

💯, I think tips being used on content we actually find helpful and enjoy will help to keep farcaster more organic and keep away those who just go around tipping in expectance of a tip in return to essentially just farm. Good content = organic growth 📈 13 $degen

Interesting sentiment. I would have thought that giving all your tips daily was something to aspire to. Deciding how I allocate each evening as I browse has been my favorite part. That said I only have 684 daily allowance so that hasn’t exactly been a struggle.
