gm parents, what are your thoughts on homeschooling? 

Anybody doing it or planning on doing it>

I’m against it. Kids need different point of view from parents. Different studying methods, different places and different struggles. We should not raise our kid as photocopies of ourselves. Life is tough, even at a school. We should teach them to cope with life, not schooling them.

Agreed. Even unexceptional schools can provide essential experiences, good and bad. Especially with the right patental framing.

Social & emotional awareness is hard to hone without the right kind of stress. Stuff better left to the blooming, buzzing world of public school.
