I felt my choices this election were between corrupt and corrupt+stupid. Trump, Elon and RFK are all unfit to be empowered to this degree, especially with 0 checks and balances. I expect a lot of chaos and instability, with 0 self reflection from Democrats along the way.

In all honesty I kind of want to quit tech and quit everything. Tech is MAGA and it’s lonely. I don’t relate to how people create things or their intentions for them. The industry as a whole feels gross. When was the last time you saw any new tech actually help someone meaningfully? 

I don’t trust the stability of anything with schizo old man Trump and his band of lunatics and want to enjoy as much of the The Old as I can while The New struggles to be born.

fwiw i dont think tech in sf is maga. No doubt there is a meaningful contingent, but there are plenty of never-trumpers as well
