Yeah same, hope it incorporates some novel mechanics that sets it apart. The announcement sounded like their first release being the final “test” and that the engine afterwards “goes public”.

I'm curious to see the choices they'll make for this engine and the options available (for artists and for collectors).

Hard to say, I really hope not. I actually see fxhash gravitating towards ETH/Base and maybe more curational drops in the future. Also it will be a @fakewhale  exclusive until fall. 
But you’re right as regards demand. Market is over-saturated, demand is low. But that’s just normal market cycles, why should it be any different in crypto/NFTs

Another nail in fxhash's coffin perhaps? Although I can't see it stealing too much business as the buyers just aren't around.
