One reason why this split is not super-crazy is that it reasonably follows population density maps, and the Indo-European language map:

Scandinavian || Slav || Slav/Mongol || Mongol Saxon || Slav || Turk || Asian Latin || Greek || Turk || Asian Turks and Slavs surely some of the largest ethno groups "INDO-EUROPEAN" dont catch that.

Interesting perspective @vitalik.eth ! It's thought-provoking to consider alternative geographical splits of Eurasia, recognizing the imperfections in traditional division. Exploring different models helps appreciation of complex cultural, but was the criteria purely population density or there are other intentions?
