My own current privacy roadmap (much lighter on L1 changes, but also more limited in its consequences): https://ethereum-magicians.org/t/a-maximally-simple-l1-privacy-roadmap/23459 Highly encourage people to read both! https://x.com/pcaversaccio/status/1909939119037313255

"Wallets should connect to multiple RPC nodes, optionally through a mixnet, ideally use a different RPC node per dapp" Thank you! I've been trying to make this case for Walletbeat; it's been difficult to convince wallet software development teams that this is necessary, or to think about metadata leakage in general.

Back in the day we used to talk about immutable, transparent, everyone can see everyone’s transactions _forever_; my hope is that ETH evolves into AOL [remember those little squares on the AOL home screen - L2s!]

Super thoughtful roadmap! If we fully implement shielded balances, PIR reads, and one-address-per-app, and private sends become default, won’t it make post-hack fund tracing nearly impossible? Onchain traces were key in CEX hacks like WazirX and Bybit for tracking stolen funds.

Just responded to @vitalik.eth's "A maximally simple L1 privacy roadmap". Specifically this point: 2. Move the ecosystem toward “one address per application” by default. If this topic is up your street, you can find it here: https://ethereum-magicians.org/t/a-maximally-simple-l1-privacy-roadmap/23459/29?u=sheldrake ____ /digitalidentity /walletbeat /addresso

We will soon launch a full-fledged web4 social network (without backend, with smart contract engin) and such privacy technology will be very useful for users!

Privacy is a key 🔑 to onboard more people, transparency needs to be achievable but not prone to abuse.

Important but I believe the soul of Ethereum is sitting right under your nose The robust art renaissance that has occurred onchain since NFTs came into existence created a worldwide network of creatives and collectors Leaning into that a bit more would benefit both artists, collectors and the foundation Make Ethereum Interesting Again
