I'm really proud that ethereum does not have any culture of trying to prevent people from speaking their minds, even when they have very negative feelings toward major things in the protocol or ecosystem. Some wave the ideal of "open discourse" as a flag, some take it seriously.

I strongly agree with this approach. As a leader, I have always solicited honest feedback. You like to hear positive feedback, but neutral or negative feedback really helps you understand where others may see opportunities for improvement.

Vitalik, you are one of the geniuses of the 21st century. This is an irrevocable fact. And it's not just because you created Ethereum. It's because you have the crazy and creative essence of people like Einstein and Tesla. Ethereum wasn't just Ethereum. What it stands for is hidden in Satoshi's ‘Manifesto’.
