To me, the most underrated counterargument to the Pascal's Wager is that it ignores that your actions can have consequences on either side of zero. Once you take that into account, many things move from "seeming no-brainer" to "totally undecidable omg what the heck do I do"

(And yes, like all Pascal's Wager discourse in the 2020s, this has an AI safety tie-in. Soooo many actions done in the name of AI safety so far seem to have had very ambiguous consequences (Premise: all the other AI labs are reckless, I'll make one that focuses on safety! 2 years later: we have n+1 reckless AI labs))

My favourite interpretation of an ‘antigod’ is a god that has set up religion as a test to determine which of its creations will not live life more or less like an automaton, despite being instructed to do so.

Also in a world that God does exist. But you only worshipped him because of Pascal. That God probably thinks you’re an idiot and you get -30000 anyway 😂 If there is a God, it’s doubtful he cares how much you believe in him. Especially as he hasn’t made it obvious that he does. He probably does care if you’re a good person. And that would be true regardless if you believe in him or not.

There can be no AntiGod, might be a God who trolls people with "holy scriptures", so believing in scriptures might be the worst thing in this case and not believing scriptures while worshipping the God would be the best.

That's more like a multidimensional thing I believe. It's also illustrated by the manifold of religions we have on earth. At least some of them probably consider praying to false gods as the equivalent of a deadly sin. Assuming that all believe systems are equally likely to be true, the best strategy is to not believe in any of them, simple game theory again, no?
