Very interesting piece on current events (in particular the situation in India, which I’m not very familiar with). That said, I think this take on “unknown knowns” is closer to Žižek's than my own. Though it also points to a stronger overlap between the two conceptions than I’d previously entertained.

Interesting read and I like the quick dip in India's history (I'm woefully ignorant having received the typical ego-centric American education). I had a different idea of what "unknown knowns" are. Haven't properly put a pen to it but something like the different between "intuition" and consciously knowing something.
