Works up to a point for zk-provable stuff like ofac addresses but looking at the broader csam-motivated siege against e2ee, I suspect it will be a harder fight than that

Otoh security through obscurity/anonymity plus single-use addresses for serious tx I think is reasonable for most cases, and will defend against all but the most dedicated

There's a balance, one that we're working to define with Quilibrium — privacy preserving, but with the ability to support compliance considerations in interactions, like when sending to an exchange, they can verify that your funds did not have previous interactions with any OFAC addresses, without revealing what those past addresses were.
