Substack notes has overtaken farcaster for me. I spend more time there because the integration with good reading is a killer feature. I don’t quite know what to do on farcaster anymore. I’d say 90% of the onchain app frame stuff doesn’t seem particularly interesting to me. The mechanisms are interesting but the ideas so far haven’t been for me.

What do you wish Farcaster had, or had more of?

i get this. main thing im thinking on here is how to build on it, otherwise shitcasting I suppose the ideas are getting limited due to the homepage UX being twitter-like. there's literally no screen estate for alternatives homepages to grow out of the mechanisms https://warpcast.com/na/0x7fda6536

UX there is confusing once you are used to twitter/Farcaster I cast to remember or come back to things in a composable way without too much lock in, probably not possible on substack

I don't see the point on building a social graph on Substack. I get there's a high quality community of writers, but it's just Facebook/Twitter web2 rug pulls all over again. The point of Substack was that you can export your e-mail list and go anywhere you want: back to Wordpress, Ghost, @paragraph etc. With Substack notes, it's even worse than Threads/Mastodon for user social graph sovereignty.
