congrats on the success! when you’ve recovered from expending your rad dad energy, can you share how you got into this with your kids? my 12 year old has been itching to start a game but I am a complete newb. love to see how much fun they are having! 🫶

D&D has been my most enduring hobby, and it was something I wanted to share with my kids. D&D was also a pandemic activity (ran an online game with both kids and some friends). So, my daughter’s request didn’t come out of nowhere…but it was the first time she asked if I would be willing to run something with regularity. As for your 12 year old - I would find a one-shot game at a local game store…or if you’re willing to pay, you can both join a game with a paid DM. Both of you playing and learning together would be fun. Once you have a little experience, you can deep dive into the hobby. That being said, this next year, I plan to run some games online with some farcaster folks. If you want a seat at the table, happy to have you!
