Starting @ValucopOfficial changed my life in several ways... I remember the December before I started Valucop Global, how I sat down on my bed with a pen and paper The vision burning through my heart was to build a community where I can show people like me, how they can leverage the Internet to monetize their skill or talent. I have watched Valucop evolve into a brand that makes dreams possible, and brings expectations to reality The testimonials every single birthday are proof that so far so good, it's been worth it. Every birthday since 2019 has been a testimonial of impact. I am grateful to God for being a channel... And in the days to come, we are going to take it up a notch or even several notches... Happy birthday to me... God has been so good to me... I have too many reasons to give God praises. I am the girl God loves. I have seen God's mighty works. This past year has been the full package: miracles, testimonies, revelation of God's word, prayer drives, victories, needs met, impact, lessons learned etc etc. Onye jì chukwu jide sie ya ike. 🥂to much more learning, relearning and unlearning in the service of the Lord.

What worked: - Collaborating with a community >- Instead of pushing ads, a Twitter Spaces event, talked about the vision, shared memes, and even joked about the challenges of building in Web3. >- By keeping conversations informal and authentic, members were volunteering to help spread the word. >-They genuinely believed in the mission, and their enthusiasm sparked a ripple effect. - Adopting a community-first mindset. >- Drawing inspiration from memecoin culture. - Instead of talking at people, talk with them, using phrases like “we’re building this together” and creating fun, shareable content. - In Web3, people don’t want to feel like they’re being sold to—they want to feel like they’re part of something bigger. - Projects that succeed in this space do so because their supporters genuinely believe in their vision. - It’s not about spending more; it’s about connecting more. I am tossing the pen back to @onyeka to give us number 5.

8 Reasons why Web3 Projects Fail at Marketing (and how to avoid them) Point number 4: Misaligned Marketing Strategies When I first started my career in Web3 marketing, My first marketing plans were straight out of a Web2 playbook, then add - a solid team, - a working product, and - a decent budget for marketing spent heavily on Google ads, sponsored posts, and polished email campaigns). Everything seemed poised for success so I assumed it would work. Guess what? It didn’t. The ads barely resonated, and the community engagement was nonexistent. Even worse, I realized that people in the Web3 space didn’t trust the paid strategies— they saw them as impersonal. I could tell we were losing momentum, fast. The turning point... I changed my mindset and strategies.

Let’s dig in: When I started attending Web3 events, I vividly remember one of the Blockchain conferences with speakers from different projects One speaker got on stage and launched into a whirlwind explanation of their project: phrases like "layer-2 scaling solutions," "ZK-rollups," and "decentralized governance frameworks" were thrown around. In as much as I understood what those terms were, I was lost within the first 30 seconds. Looking around, I could see others in the audience zoning out too. We forget quickly that the Web3 audience is not limited to devs only... But then, another founder came on stage. He didn’t start with technical specs or industry buzzwords. Practice explaining your project to someone outside Web3—if they don’t get it, simplify it further. Clear messaging is about meeting people where they are. How to Avoid It: To simplify the complex, start by understanding your audience. What are their pain points? For instance, if you're building a decentralized storage solution, don't dive into how your sharding algorithm works. Instead, tell them a story about a photographer who never has to worry about losing precious files again. Develop an elevator pitch that highlights your value in under 20 seconds...
