Your score is based on your top N casts (i think 20 or so) So if your newer casts aren't beating your older ones in engagement, your score won't increase.

There is no "shadowbanning" on Warpcast. If you make a top-level cast, it will show up in the feeds of everyone who follows you. You don't have to take my word for it. Cast something, take a friends phone and scroll to the bottom of their feed. Your cast will show up at some point - it will be higher up if they interact with you a lot, and lower down if they don't.

I hope lightning does well, but I do not see a lot of people using it today. If adoption of lightning increases, we'd integrate it.

3. Cast often Our home feed algo selects casts from everyone you follow. It then orders them so you see casts from people you interact with often first. One of the accounts I looked at hadn't cast in three months. If you drop off for a while, then you'll naturally start showing up in a lower position on people's feeds until they start liking your posts again. We've added some features to make this better like the "X casted for the first time in a while notification". But dropping off for a while is going to hurt your distribution and you should cast at least a few times a week if you want to keep growing your audience here.

2. Cast interesting things I looked at another account where the last 10 posts were automated shares of miniapps. There wasn't a single original word they had written. It's important that you share something unique that people might find interesting. If you're sharing a miniapp, add a little commentary about why you're using it. If you're sharing a link, tell people your thoughts about it. People follow you for your personality, make sure it comes through.

1. Not enough followers One of the people I talked to had 10 followers and was surprised they had no engagement. You absolutely need to build a following. A good rule of thumb is that if you have 1k followers, then 100 may be online today, 50 may scroll enough to see your cast and 5 of them may like it. If you don't have 1k followers, work on fixing that. Just posting casts won't get you more followers. You also need to reply or interact with others so they notice you and click follow. It's important that these interactions are helpful to others. If you are simply trying to farm follows, people will notice and it will have the opposite effect.

people been asking me a lot this /farcon-nyc my opinion on @bryanjohnson and blueprint, so here's a long cast 1. what Bryan is doing is phenomenal, he's trying so many things and some of them work, a case study is a valid type of research and i follow all of his findings closely 2. philosophy of fighting aging and death has been out there for centuries, but what Bryan did is bringing it mainstream, something Huberman and Attia been doing too, and i highly respect all the people in the space 3. Don't Die is simple and powerful message that is understandable among people who are not into longevity, and i support the message wholeheartedly 4. you mostly get 80% there with diet, sleep, exercise and removing bad habits, but everything extra you do bring you closer to the goal of living forever 5. Bryan is authentic, even if he overstates some things, his vulnerability in the open is something i deeply respect 6. if i pick one thing that resonated with me greatly was his wish to live many lives with his children

The main event of Farcaster this week definitely seems to be farcon, but I do think it’s worth noting another milestone moment: a major global news breaking on Warpcast. I first found out about the Iberian blackout on here, thanks to casters in Spain alerting me to the news. I wound up monitoring a lot of the heated debate that followed over the cause on X. But those early casts gave me a glimpse of how this could develop as a platform for real news.
