It’s been a little less than 3 weeks but it’s amazing how much progress you can see if you’re strict and consistent!! I started on the 12th and have gone to the gym to strength train 12/19 days. Muscle memory is starting to kick in and I feel great! I should have taken a before picture. Huge /success This isn’t the first time I’ve casted a picture of myself but it’s been a while lol. What’s the best advice you ignored that turned out to be spot on? We’ve all been there—someone gives you advice, you think, ‘Yeah, whatever man, that won’t happen to me!” only to later realize they were right. Maybe it’s about your career, family, or something else else entirely, but we’ve all done it. I’ve done it a lot, but the one that stings is the most is ignoring the advice not to take loved ones for granted. Losing my brother Andrew this year, I was reminded of all the plans we made ‘for later’ that we would now never get to do. If I could go back, I would say “Yes” to all those times he asked to hang out or shoot the shit, no matter how tired or busy I was. What’s some advice that you’ve gotten in the past and ignored only to realize later you should have listened sooner?

Is your career path linear or nonlinear? Some people have careers that follow a straight line—each job is just a step toward a better role. For others, the path twists and turns, taking unexpected detours. As the world changes, so are career paths. There are a lot more people doing side gigs and starting small businesses. My own career path has been anything but traditional. I skipped college to run a pizza franchise and when that didn’t work out, I taught myself SEO. That led to a combination of side gigs, businesses, and now a more traditional career. My struggles with addiction made this journey more difficult but also taught me invaluable skills that I use everyday. How has your career path shaped you? Has it been a straightforward journey, or has it taken a few unexpected turns along the way? What lessons have you learned?
