Blockchain isn't your new digital bank account ⭕️ Let me be brutally honest: we're suffocating blockchain's revolutionary potential in the hands of those who only think about charts and code. Ironically, while we proclaim to want to revolutionize the system, we're slavishly replicating it. 💢 It makes me laugh seeing how Web3 has become a playground for ex-bankers and developers who've never read anything beyond programming manuals. The truth? They're building a poor copy of Web2 with some tokens scattered here and there. WOW, what innovation! 🙄 ♨️ Remember the Internet pioneers? They were visionaries, rebels, book devourers. They mixed philosophy, art, and technology to create something truly new. They weren't trying to "optimize" the system - they wanted to flip it upside down! 1/2 👇

Some notes on momentum-maxxing “Not your protocols, not your momentum” Other People’s Habits (OPH) > Other People’s Money (OPM) OODA pwnage = leverage(OPH) Best case: Your protocols, compounding returns Average case: lossy random walk/squeakiest wheel pwnage Worst case: Adversarial OODA pwnage “OPH” is a concept (analogous to OPM) that’s repeatedly cropped up in my notes over the last decade, though I never wrote it up. Taking OPM or catalyzing OPH creates principal-agent moral hazard. You should act like a good VC wrt your habits. Cc: @sonyasupposedly

@ucf AssetRealty's Aidan Larkin responded to questions about the US government's Bitcoin by saying, "Basically, the recent court approval is a normal procedure for any civil confiscation. And that doesn't mean the US will immediately press the sell button. The sale of Bitcoin must follow a very strict process." He added, "At some point in the future, it will go through normal government procedures. There will be a civil confiscation application hearing. They will be approved, and then it will enter normal law enforcement procedures and the public domain." AssetRealty is a US company that helps the government manage seized assets and has extensive experience in asset handling. @dtripart

@ucf According to CoinDesk, cryptocurrency rapper Heather Morgan (stage name Razzlekhan) released a new song video titled "Razzlekhan vs. The United States" just before her imprisonment, in which she appears provocatively, satirizing capitalism and the US justice system. Her husband Ilya "Dutch" Lichtenstein was an accomplice in planning the Bitfinex hacking attack. Morgan stated that her music creation is meant to inspire those who feel out of place. @yogi1990
