Correct. This is in the context of an open-source framework that I work on - most of our users are small teams where the (alleged 😉) benefits of GraphQL matter less.

Though, this upcoming release (@ponder/client) is actually an SQL client / query builder - so arguably it's *more* expressive than GraphQL.

say more? if you can just excise it from the codebase, I guess it wasn't being used for any of its unique capabilities? (e.g., more expressive queries than a REST API allows, transparency outside of your internal team, one way of ensuring end-to-end type safety...)
