TIL about `overscroll-behavior`, a CSS property that controls the behavior of the overscroll/rubberband effect. Setting it to "none" on the <body> element can prevent the user from scrolling "behind" the web page.

Chargebacks are a measure of fraud in the system but they’re setup as dark patterns. Most people seem to use them in cases where they made a bad choice and they wish they hadn’t. This should never happen, it costs all of us money

Getting something right for the wrong reason can be inspiration to a person capable of producing the right idea for the right reasons I think it’s fine when this plays out IRL, a la, a Terrance Howard incident. Where I find it upsetting is when the person doing the child like wandering, presents their ideas in such a way as to assert a type of discredit to those that came before. It’s that disrespect is what discredits, also it’s irrelevant and worse that it obfuscates the potential insight. Own the outsider status, bring humility in the lack of expertise, and by and large the ideas will be welcomed more often
