I did ~4h of vibecoding at agi house saturday, takeaways: It's slowwwww, each run is about 2-10m so you only get a handful per hour and they often fail or don't work correctly. Brutal feedback loop so I would recommend doing 3 or so projects at once to stay engaged. Progress isn't iterative. A few times I ran prompts that improved one dimension but degraded another or broke the app entirely. Since each change is so sweeping, finding yourself out of that mess can be tough or plain slow. A few times I just reverted wholesale, cursor's built in checkpointing super helpful there. @martinamps and I tried to multiplayer vibecode a bit across two machines and despite the beautiful makeshift rsync script it failed bad. It was cool that cursor could self heal when it detected a file changed mid run from a sync'd change though. Would be cool to have an environment optimized for multiplayer vibecoding. I think a lot would be solved by faster agent runs (groq?) and limiting scope per run.

It's a big week for crypto gaming. Obvs Crypto: The Game launched today. Kudos to @dylanabruscato and an early congratulations to the 🐬 Aqua Tribe 🐬 Also, RekTech kicked off Game 1 of S1 today in partnership with Ansem. Prizes include a Rolex, Charizards, BTC, SOL and NFTs. You all know I've been a big fan of what RekTech's building and although they launched in the midst of a chaotic market, I'm still very bullish on this team. If you minted ... get that XP folks. Another team I'm big on is the @farcade bros @chuckstock & @blackstock, who launched early access to its AI game studio this weekend. Me and fellow non-dev @burrrrrberry have joined forces on Team Struggle to channel our vibe-coding energy into building some new Farcade games that you will all hopefully be playing soon. Just saw “Mickey 17.” I loved it. The plot and tone felt like a mix between “Okja” and “Snowpiercer,” two of my favorite Bong Joon-ho films. There are some details that will almost certainly date the movie in the future — the desperate worshippers of an egomaniacal, spacefaring corporate politician wear red hats; the omnipresent camera crew glorifying the cruel leader carry ring lights. But it’s a funny, clever and original examination of ethical issues that feel realer than typical sci-fi.

I love my parents so much. I haven't seen them in a couple of months, and just had a very heartwarming lunch with my mom. Friendly reminder to tell your parents you love them and give them a hug. You never know how much longer you'll have with them!
