i never understand why b2b apps send you a million emails after onboarding. if i'm signed up to your b2b app it's either part of my workflow or it's not - retention hacks aren't going to make a difference

This is why itβs important not to trust your own feelings on some things when building (and growing) products. I would never send onboarding emails or marketing campaigns if I listened to my own preferences.

might be the general trend though. working with a lot of businesses lately (see pinned tweet lol) and almost everyone is overwhelmed with their inbox. big focus of my work is to work with these businesses and the response rates are absymal because of this issue - no matter how personalized the email is
