i never understand why b2b apps send you a million emails after onboarding. if i'm signed up to your b2b app it's either part of my workflow or it's not - retention hacks aren't going to make a difference

The truth is, they seem to work for most people. Certainly not for me. I either want to use the app after signing up or don't. But if sending marketing emails to 1 millions sign ups reduce churn compared to not sending, then it seems to be the right decision
