Imo, many of the wrongly targeted âDEIâ âwokeâ peeps - Black folks - are not unbothered. Just not surprised. These plays have all been telegraphed a mile away. Also, weâve come a LONG way as a people in the US, and our generations before us always remind us of the progress weâve made. The world is on fire for sure. But itâs less on fire than my great greats and grands. Iâm over here helping my brotha from Compton, an award winning principal build the next edtech unicorn and breaking through that funding barrier. Weâve just got heads down and building. We didnât vote for this⊠collectively we would never vote for this. But we know what time it is. We werenât surprised during the first term. That was long. But hey. đ
