Imo, many of the wrongly targeted ‘DEI’ ‘woke’ peeps - Black folks - are not unbothered. Just not surprised. These plays have all been telegraphed a mile away. Also, we’ve come a LONG way as a people in the US, and our generations before us always remind us of the progress we’ve made. The world is on fire for sure. But it’s less on fire than my great greats and grands. I’m over here helping my brotha from Compton, an award winning principal build the next edtech unicorn and breaking through that funding barrier. We’ve just got heads down and building. We didn’t vote for this… collectively we would never vote for this. But we know what time it is. We weren’t surprised during the first term. That was long. But hey. 🎓

All facts. I should have qualified that with this. I know people are working quietly. I know there isn’t a need to put it all on the timeline. I also know a lot of people who never felt it will be feeling it soon. I’m actually ready for this. There are people in my life who will never get it any other way I hate watching it. But yeah I’ve hated watching it since 1991 so…
