Thatā€™s so impressive. Iā€™m a lifelong reader with serious ADHD. My pace is slow. Iā€™m a lifelong reader but itā€™s never come easy

I have ADHD too. I finish 50-80 books per year, vast majority are audiobooks. Before audiobooks I read 10 books per year tops. Obvi I'm just one anecdote, but might be worth a try. Two specific strategies I use for listening: ā€¢1.5-2.5x speed while walking ā€¢read+listen (with highlighter) at 2.5-3.5x speed

Thatā€™s amazing. Audio helps me. I actually do my best reading to the audio, which gets expensive but SO worth it. If Iā€™m engaged with one or the other I often have to re-read or re-listen. Except listening while Iā€™m hiking, driving or on a trainšŸ˜‚

Libby is a great app. You can borrow audiobooks for free. Depending on your local library system, there's a decent catalog. I always check there before buying on Audible, etc https://warpcast.com/morereese/0x93ecd0
