I have ADHD too. I finish 50-80 books per year, vast majority are audiobooks. Before audiobooks I read 10 books per year tops. Obvi I'm just one anecdote, but might be worth a try. Two specific strategies I use for listening: ā¢1.5-2.5x speed while walking ā¢read+listen (with highlighter) at 2.5-3.5x speed

Thatās amazing. Audio helps me. I actually do my best reading to the audio, which gets expensive but SO worth it. If Iām engaged with one or the other I often have to re-read or re-listen. Except listening while Iām hiking, driving or on a trainš

Libby is a great app. You can borrow audiobooks for free. Depending on your local library system, there's a decent catalog. I always check there before buying on Audible, etc https://warpcast.com/morereese/0x93ecd0
