I truly believe that if we want to pass the "Great Filter" we'll need to shift to a more robust (& blockchain-based) economic paradigm. Our current economic paradigm is leading us to a dystopian nightmare - or worse...

Ah very interesting, thank you. I’m not sure if we’re at extinction level, because I feel the current trajectory is to establish the 1% as an ultra secure class. I guess, is the great filter failed in Elysium style dystopia? I feel blockchain helps close that gap and enable wealth flow so a greater percentage of humanity is not filtered out

Can't really rule out extinction entirely w AGI, but either way we're not even talking about "the 1%" but a small fraction of that competing for domination under techno feudalism. Can't see how this can be a sustainable model in the long term

Sustainable for who? It's the exact same paradigm that has always existed, we just keep making it more efficient. Blockchain will just make it even more efficient as well if we don't build it right. The key to "sustainability" is population resets. Just rug a whole bunch of lives with unnecessary wars and suddenly now there's more runway for the system.
