Can't really rule out extinction entirely w AGI, but either way we're not even talking about "the 1%" but a small fraction of that competing for domination under techno feudalism.

I’m not sure if we’re at extinction level, because I feel the current trajectory is to establish the 1% as an ultra secure class. 

I guess, is the great filter failed in Elysium style dystopia? I feel blockchain helps close that gap and enable wealth flow so a greater percentage of humanity is not filtered out
