People on here are always saying Iām perfect. And listen⦠I appreciate it. I really do. But in the interest of transparency, I feel like I should share what happened the other night. I was having a moment. Too much energy. Too much teething on Assistant #1. So I got put in āpuppy prisonā for a cool-down. Itās not as dramatic as it sounds, itās just my pen. But still. I was offended. And in that moment of righteous indignation, I made a decision. I looked Assistant #1 directly in the eyes, squatted on my bed⦠and peed. Slowly. Deliberately. Maintaining eye contact the entire time. So no, Iām not perfect. Very cute? Yes. Almost always right? Obviously. But perfect? Never.

oh no bert how mad was she??? we had a foster pup a couple of years ago who was so cute and snuggly and that (most importantly) toby loved, which is actually quite rare for him, and she was completely potty trained by this point, but one time she decided to take a spite poo in my bathroom, and i still think about it and hold a grudge against her for it to this day hopefully your mom/asst#1 isn't such a grudge holder like myself but i wouldn't fault her at all if she became a bit pupset (or a lot pupset) at you for this...

The Assistants weren't too mad. They swapped out my bed and put a clean one in my pen so that "I would know peeing doesn't get me a free pass out". Secretly, I think they also found it a little funny. Poo might be a different story though. I've NEVER pooped in the house, that is an outdoor activity only.
