This is my dream! The issue is either you get a business style projector that can still produce a picture even if the room is bright but you sacrifice picture (typically) or you get a movie projector but it'll need to be nearly pitch black to really take advantage of the photo otherwise it's faded out a bit You also can't play games with a projector because the latency is going to be too low. I think portable projectors are cool, but just adjust your expectations cause it won't be as crisp as a tv.

just lived with one for a month at the place where we were staying. worked surprisingly well, like a tv that "disappears" during the day. can't hold a candle to our oled tv but pretty decent at night.
