@greg Why are the numbers on farcaster.network completely different from the Dune Dashboard (Neynar.com data)? Total users - 550K vs 280K Daily casters - 50K vs 20K Daily cast - 70K vs 30K Connected addrs - 613K vs 190K The only thing that roughly matches is Protocol Revenue https://dune.com/pixelhack/farcaster

Throughout the film, the audience is subliminally suggested how abnormal it is to run a datacenter and not know what is being run there - as if spying on and surveilling your clients is somehow the norm. As if privacy never existed.

WHY do I need an API key to use WalletConnect? I feel like a fool, but I don't see ANY need for it. I just want to connect dapp to wallet and vice versa, that's all.

btw I'm in touch with the folks at Waku and will be happy to participate in creating an alternative for WalletConnect. I feel the same way about it as I do about POAP - I see a lot of strange decisions & overcomplications there too, and it also deserves a truly decentralized and permission-less alternative.

The only thing I should to address as dapp developer is the WC dialogue display. Everything else should happen under the hood.

From a dapp developer's point of view - I don't want to deal with any special WC APIs at all, I just want to load the library, it wraps the web3 instance and redirects certain requests elsewhere if needed - thats all.

I see the need to have a message broker between two clients, between two web3 instances for example (wallet <-> dapp). This should be maximally abstracted. When I open the documentation, I see so many APIs and I don't know what is the relationship between them and why I should need them.
