Even as a casual blog post, I appreciated your nuance.

He believes that on-chain governance is the only way to go. I don't agree with that, but it's an interesting perspective.

Pretty funny that's the exact opposite of reality, perfect decentralization = no governance. Of course, in this post I acknowledge there's a spectrum, and on-chain governance for an L1 blockchain (which is what I presume he meant) is the worst of both worlds - you get inadequate governance & also poor decentralization.
