I have a “library” of ideas and then a prioritization matrix I put them through. All are periodically revisited as markets and circumstances change.

Spend time exploring lots of ideas first. Usually the ideas you seem most excited about initially are just a temporary itch you want to scratch and not a sustainable interest

- one that solves your or your close friends’ problems - one where you have an unfair advantage such as domain expertise or network - one that feels big - one you can see yourself excited to work on in 5 years The more of these conditions met the better.
