I walk line between being just challenged enough but bored, and dreading workout. Usually bored is better so i can just get in and get it done.

For me if I am looking at resistance training I look at progressive overload. Record your workouts. I think if you are seeing yourself get stronger consistently it stops the boredom kicking in. Works for me, may not work for others
