On Sunday, I lost a gel during my long run. This morning, while on an easy run, I found the missing gel... it was smashed about a quarter mile from my home. Which gels do you prefer for your long runs? I'm still experimenting but usually rely on GU.

i tried gu’s, maurten, spring, and huma. i started with gu and ended up sticking with gu cheapest and i didn’t mind flavor or texture was looking for higher sodium and electrolyte content, but turned out spring was lying about their carbs, and huma was too liquid for me fwiw, i think my cramping is really due to lack of strength and conditioning vs electrolytes

I've been experimenting with a lot of the same gels. I'll usually include one or two of the Roctane GUs into the rotation to help with electrolytes, and GU seems to be the most affordable.
