my tolerance bar gets depleted when spending time with my daughter and holding space for us to play and have fun together mindfully coming back to the office and spending some time alone creating things replenishes it finding balance is the key

(we don't have a tv at home, so every waking hour is her wanting to play. and that's pretty exhausting. absolutely rewarding, of course, but its pretty intense work. at least for me)

Man that's tough. We've been trying to reduce tv time as much as possible but it's difficult to live without it completely. Good for you for cutting it out. It's not as good as other activities. Life is more peaceful without it, harder but definitely more peaceful.

but i can see how freeing it can be to just send them to the tv and have that time for doing something that you can’t do it you need to be taking care of them. it’s a tradeoff. not good, not bad. i want to see bluey with her tho. I can’t wait for that to happen

Yeah, there is good, that's true. The balance is key. Not too much either of you get complacent. Not too much that you don't appreciated the time doing it, the time you have when she is watching. And bluey is fantastic.

dude can't wait to start seeing it. i have seen like 2 minutes of it in my whole life and those 2 minutes were special. there is something special in there. i want to show her cartoons. but my wife tells me she is not ready yet. and a part of me agrees. but another big part just wants to have fun watching her with the eyes of wonder, imagining worlds that are real as this one. imagine rocko's modern life, spongebob squarepants, all those cartoons, at least for me they transformed my life. im not sure in what way, but they did. anyway. it will be soon that i will see it with her. can't wait
