Imo the two Picasso Rooms at MoMA is 10x better than the 5-floor collection of the Picasso Museum in Paris. (Not including the exhibits of course @kugusha.eth) A real gem in NYC ❤️

That's true for most of his museums I think. His best stuff is at collections (MoMA, Tate, Guggenheim, El Prado, Pompidou)

Picasso in Paris had a better collection pré 2008.... The strikes and renovation and politics surrounding the renovation were a nightmare for the museum..

The Paris exhibit is unique in showing you his entire life of creative expression from painting to wood working to pottery and random sketches. MoMa, Pompidou, Getty, etc have the most celebrated works of art at the height of his painting career.
