Sol is a great execution layer, makes zero sense as a settlement layer running on bare-metal nodes rented at datacenters Excited for innovation the SVM will bring to Ethereum L2s like Eclipse next year.

So the argument is, because validation on Solana requires large amounts of compute, the entry requirements are too high for credible neutrality?

My concern is that this is too nuanced a point for any end users to actually care, which is what drives network success at the end of the day
