guys, has anyone been to burning man and what are your thoughts (lol) i know it’s heavily dependent on who you go with and camp setup etc, but i’ve been invited to go with some good-vibes people i know… however i’m having second thoughts because it’s soooo much prep work, fucking expensive (i don’t want to make that my reason but it is a factor) and also as an introvert i think i might hate being around people for what amounts to 10+ days including camp build and strike, yadda yadda i also went to a decompression event in zurich last year and i hated the people and corny vibe there, but i chocked it up to them being swiss i’m wondering if it would be more ~* soul healing *~ to like, go hiking for a week or go to japan or something, idk man sorry for posting in this channel lmao i don’t know how to reach the right audience for this

Went for 1st time last year. Some thoughts: Ppl are definitely the most important ingredient, so only go if you’re camping with ppl you like. Most camps let you do build OR strike. I did 2nd half (saw man + temple burns) and it was perfect amount of time for my first time. Being an introvert isn’t really a problem IMO. Vibe is mostly live and let live and you can always spend your day/night out in the playa with fewer ppl. One of the favorite things I did was biking to the literal edge of the playa and chilling in a random hut/art installation for a solid hr. 2 other dudes also found it and we gave each other nods but nobody said a word to each other. okay, cool, that helps a lot. i guess i just got a bit overwhelmed LOL but i'm actually p excited about the concept. seems like most ppl who have been say to go, people who haven't are super critical of it
