"The best revenge is to not be like your enemy." When you stop behaving like your enemy, you take away the power they have over you and weaken their influence. Since we are all part of the same larger whole, by choosing not to mirror their negative behavior, you essentially remove that negativity from this shared existence. In doing so, you help purify the larger organism we are all part of, making both yourself and the collective better.

I am longing for the time when web3 will stop being the meaningless gold rush. Fort sure digital permanence is a huge thing by itself no?

From my point of view just rewriting the code and posting a github link with the v5 would be enough. I can see the umbrella logic in the video, and copy specific v5 code from the v5 repo. I know its a pain to remake the videos, but really they are an incredible source of learning info for 3rdweb

I figured it out with the help of @thirdweb support :) It was my bad, not understanding how onchain variables work.

Cant figure this out - minting a custom erc721 contract with an svg onchain, using thirdweb results into the same image being displayed for all nfts on thirdweb dashboard. However opensea displays it correctly... Where do i look for the problem?

So.. i dont know if its the place to post it but here goes: - I mint an SVG onchain, which is base64 encoded - Additionally you need to base64 encode it second time, with all the metadata - OpenSea views it just fine - Back at my app, if I want to view the SVG in its initial form, I need : - Get the tokenId from the owner - Get the tokenURI by tokenId - Remove the metadata - Decode it once - Remove some junk - Decode it twice - Then i get the SVG. Somehow this seems excessive. How does opensea just get the image?

👋 Building my first nft minting project. Considering base as my chain. Where would you suggest I reach out for my "early adopters"? (besides here)

Starting a very humble onchain nft project, minting happens on my webapp. Minting on main eth will probably be too expensive but if I go for base or polygon for the chain I am afraid people wont have funds there. Thoughts?

2024 - How important is for the nft you are about to mint, to be completely onchain vs on IPFS?
